Despite the rain, the campers ended the first week of camp on a high note! Challenge Quest campers began the day with a 60 second challenge. They were set off to fold a paper airplane and fly it 9 ft within the time allotted. Before Discovery campers went swimming, they colored marshmallows for their next experiment. Master Chef campers began their cooking competition just after the secret ingredient was revealed. Check out the video of the unveiling below. At 1:30, they took a field trip to Tops Friendly Markets for a guided tour. Sports started the day off with a game of Spud, and then they learned a lesson about bowling before they left for Kenmore Lanes to play two games. OnStage began putting scenes together for their upcoming show! Stay tuned!
Today has been no exception to all the fun being had here at camp! OnStage continued rehearsing for their upcoming musical, and they enjoyed a visit from Cindy Darling. Meanwhile, Sports campers refined their football skills on the field in the morning and in the gym in the afternoon.
The Master Chef campers watched a clip of Chopped, the famous cooking reality show, followed by a field trip to Wegmans. They were given the challenge to spend $10 any way they wanted. The ingredients they bought will be used along with a mystery ingredient provided for tomorrow's competition.
Challenge Quest campers completed timed races with their newly programmed robots. They also completed day two of swimming.
