Summer Safari continues in Discovery!!! Discovery 5 went to the Buffalo Zoo this afternoon. Discovery 7 made rain sticks to use in their performance tomorrow. Discovery 6 went swimming in the morning. In Science, they are learning about different animals in the safari. Discovery 4 went on a nature walk after they read The Tiny Seed in science.
Field sports learned lacrosse. They participated in skill drills and ended the day with a whole group lacrosse game. OnStage is busy with rehearsals and Wilderness is preparing for their overnight tomorrow at camp. Master Chef took a trip to Russell's Steaks, Chops, and More and Digital Arts spent some time at the Albright Knox Art Gallery. Paper Roller Coasters are completing their large coasters. We can't believe the week is almost over.
The fun and excitement at EFS summer camp continues. Today Discovery 5, 6, and 7 swam, as well as Paper Roller Coasters. Field Sports went for a tour of Coca-Cola Field. Wilderness went fishing at Hoyt Lake. Master Chef made strawberry jam and each camper took a jar home. OnStage is busy rehearsing their roles for next Friday's performance of Willie Wonka, Jr. Think fun!
What a day!!!! We were so busy on Day 2. Discovery 5 had a great swim lesson. Field Sports and Wilderness swam today, too. Wilderness began learning how to build campfires. Paper Roller Coasters went to the Buffalo Science Museum. Discovery 6, Discovery 7, and Digital Arts all went to the Buffalo Zoo.
We had a FABULOUS first day of camp! Discovery 5, 6 and 7 all went swimming this morning and were assigned swim lesson groups. Master Chef went strawberry picking and Wilderness took a hike to the Eternal Flame at Chestnut Ridge Park. Paper Roller Coasters began building some awesome structures. Our OnStage! campers auditioned for Willie Wonka Jr. which will be performed next Friday. We are looking forward to a fantastic summer!!!
