Field Trips
Discovery (3.5-4, 5, 6, 7)
During weekly field trips the campers visit a variety of locations in Western New York and develop a sense of exploration and fun. From feeding the seals at the Niagara Aquarium, making Kazoos at the world famous factory in Eden, to getting to sit in a pilot’s seat in a U.S. Air Force plane, everyone’s tastes are accounted for! Challenge Quest & Comedy Camp Each week these campers visit a variety of locations in Western New York that encourages a sense of exploration and fun. In the past, the group has investigated electricity and made their hair stand on end at the Power Vista, fed the giraffes and sea loins at the Buffalo Zoo, and attended a Bison game downtown. Master Chef & Photography Camp Unique field trips for each of these section of the camp that relate specifically to the subject content. Visit a restaurant or local farmers market with Master Chef, or visit a local gallery with Photography Camp, the options are endless! A minimum of one one field trip each week. Sports Adventure Everyday there is a new and exciting field trip in sports adventure: disc golf, kayaking, a Bison game and even "extreme trampoline" at Sky Zone, plus much more! OnStage! During the rehearsals for each production, the OnStage campers visit a theater related location around the Western New York area. In the past they have had a behind the scenes tour of Shea’s Performing Arts Center, Irish Classical Theatre, Shakespeare in Delaware Park and visited the University at Buffalo’s theater department. |
