Discovery Camp (3.5-7 Years Old)

Split into four different age groups and led by an experienced team of early childhood educators, this section engages the campers in a wide range of structured activities to challenge them mentally and physically. The camp follows a weekly theme, with foreign language, music, cooking, and arts and crafts activities. A weekly newsletter will inform parents of changes and updates to their child's schedule. Campers will also participate in a weekly craft that they can bring home. A snack is provided in the morning and afternoon, but we ask that a brown bag lunch be sent in for all campers, including the half-day program.
Elmwood Franklin Summer Camp Boost Program
For families looking for academic enrichment over the summer months, we are implementing the Boost Program for students entering grades 1-4. The Boost Program aims to increase literacy and math skill retention over the summer through targeted support in small groups with an Elmwood Franklin School teacher. Students will work on grade-specific literacy and math skills each week to keep their minds engaged, promote skill retention, and help prepare them for the next school year. Please note this program is not intended to replace one-on-one tutoring. Registration for the Boost Program is available through our summer camp registration portal, opening on January 8, on a first-come basis. Spaces are limited. Who is it for?
Children ages 3.5 & 4, 5, 6, and 7 * Independent use of the bathroom is a requirement for attendance. When does it run? June 16 - August 8, 2025 9am - 4pm Monday - Friday Half-day program is available for 3.5-4 years old section from 9am-12pm. Cost $240 half-day week $430 full week This includes all field trips, activities, morning and afternoon snack. Payment plans available. All field trips listed are subject to change. *Cancelations must be 30 days before the first day of a session to receive a full refund.
