What to Expect Are you a budding foodie? Do you want to test out your culinary skills and learn new techniques? Ever wonder where ingredients come from? Are you a fan of simply succulent food? Want to try your hand as a food writer? Measure, mix, sizzle, stir, saute, create and explore. Learn about all things culinary. Visit a local farm, farmer's market, and restaurant. Whip up a wide variety of recipes and learn some food science at the same time! This camp allows you to be the chef! Bon Appetit!
Activities All aspects of the culinary arts. Not just basic cooking skills, but also investigate why good food tastes good! Field trips to a variety of local food sources, visits from local chefs and a behind the scenes tour of one of Buffalo's restaurants. Learn the skills to be a Master Chef and your own food critic!
When does it run? July 13 - July 24, 2015. In one two-week block. It is preferable for a camper to attend both
weeks, but individual weeks are possible too. 9a.m. until 4p.m. daily (See registration form for extended camp hours available).
